Ingredients
Sweet potato, 2 medium units
Canola oil, 5 tablespoons
Garlic, 3 cloves
Sweet chili sauce, 6 tablespoons
Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
Candied pecans, 1/4 cup
Green onion, 1/4 cup
Basil, 3 tablespoons
Hot green pepper, 1/2 medium unit
Preparation
1. Mix the sweet potato cubes with the oil, and bake in the oven at 356°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes until the sweet potatoes are golden and soft.
2. Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and set aside to cool (important tip: let the sweet potatoes cool because if you mix while it is still hot - it will turn into a mash, if you cook the vegetable it will give the salad an old taste and appearance).
3. Meanwhile, mix well (or even shake) the rest of the salad ingredients, and then mix gently with the sweet potatoes.
4. You have a delicious sweet potato salad that is easy to make!
