Baked Potatoes with Olive Oil and Za’atar

Small potatoes baked in the oven in a delicious seasoning of olive oil and za’atar in an easy home preparation

Cooking Potatoes
Potato, 15 small units
Water, 2 L
Salt, 1 flat tablespoon
The Olive Oil and Spices
Olive oil, 1/4 cup
Za’atar, 1 flat teaspoon
Garlic, 1 tablespoon
Sesame, 1 tablespoon
Salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Black pepper, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Paprika, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Curry powder, 1/2 flat teaspoon


1. Cook the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes. Make sure they do not soften, strain and cool.
2. Mix the olive oil with the spices.
3. Cut two slices in each potato.
4. Arrange the potatoes in a baking pan, brush them with the seasoned olive oil on all sides and bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes or until browned.
