Homemade pickled cucumbers in salt with dill and garlic

Cucumber with peel, 1 kg
fresh and clean
Garlic, 7 cloves
cut into slices
Hot green pepper, 1 medium unit,
Dill, 1/2 bunch
Water, as needed
Salt, as needed
1 teaspoon of salt to 1 cup of water
Vinegar, as needed
2 tablespoons per 1 cup of water (optional)


1. Put the cucumbers in a jar.
2. Arrange the garlic and peppers between them, and cover with dill.
3. Pour the salted water (amounts depend on the size of the jar).
4. Close the jar tightly and wait at least a week in summer to two weeks in winter.
