Baked Butternut Squash

Sweet baked butternut squash with sugar and olive oil - a great addition like potatoes or sweet potatoes

Butternut Squash, 4 medium units
without shell, peeled and cut into cubes
Sugar, 8 flat tablespoons
Salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Black pepper, a pinch
Olive oil, 1/4 cup


1. Place the butternut squash cubes in a baking tray, add the olive oil, sugar, salt and black pepper, and mix well with your hands.
2. Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes (covered with aluminum foil). After 20 minutes, remove the cover and bake for another 5-10 minutes until browned.
