Ingredients
Green lentil, 2 cups
Canola oil, 2 tablespoons
Onion, 1 medium unit
Carrot, 1 medium unit
Zucchini, 1 medium unit
Red pepper, 1 medium unit
Green pepper, 1 medium unit
Yellow pepper, 1 medium unit
Tomato paste, 4 tablespoons
Paprika, 1 flat teaspoon
Salt, 1 pinch
Black pepper, 1 pinch
Water, 4-5 cups
Preparation
1. Soak the lentils in water for half an hour to an hour.
2. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the vegetables for about 5 minutes while stirring.
3. Add the tomato paste, spices and soaked lentils, mix well and add the water.
4. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat in a covered pot for about 45 minutes until the lentils and vegetables are ready.
