Ingredients
The Pumpkin
Pumpkin, 1 kg
The Marinade
Olive oil, 3 tablespoons
Date honey, 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
Garlic, 1 teaspoon
Salt, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Black pepper, 1/4 flat teaspoon
The Garnish
Lemon with peel, 1 medium unit
Sweet chili sauce, 2 tablespoons
Parsley, 1 tablespoon
Preparation
1. Peel the pumpkin and cut into thick slices.
2. Mix well all the marinade ingredients.
3. Spread the pumpkin in the marinade sauce and set aside for about 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
4. Heat a striped pan (grill pan) and fry the pumpkin for 2 minutes on each side until golden.
5. Garnish with lemon, sweet chili sauce and parsley and serve.
