Ingredients
Filo dough
Filo, 10 units (about 40 g each)
Canola oil, 8 tablespoons
The filling
Walnut, 1/2 cup
Pecan, 1/2 cup
Peanut, 1/2 cup
Pistachio, 1/2 cup
Almond, 1 cup
Coconut flakes, 1/2 cup
Raw tahini, 1/2 cup
Cane sugar, 1/3 cup
Vanilla sugar, 10 g
The glaze
Real maple syrup, 150 ml
Preparation
1. Grind all the types of nuts in a food processor and add the rest of the filling ingredients.
2. Brush one unit of filo dough with canola oil. Place filling generously on the bottom of the dough along its entire length. Roll and place on a baking tray with baking paper and cut to the desired size. Do this with the rest of the filo dough units.
3. Brush all the baklava units with oil from above, and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes.
4. At the end of baking, pour real maple syrup generously over the delicious vegan baklava.
