Festive and Easy Mint Salad

Mint salad with raisins, walnuts, almonds and sugared pecans in a sauce of olive oil and lemon juice

Ingredients

The salad
Mint, bunch
washed (preferably without coarse stalk)
Red onion, 1 medium unit
cut into thin strips
Carrot, 1 small unit
without peel, finely grated
Peeled sunflower seeds, 2 tablespoons
Raisins, 2 tablespoons
Sugared pecans, 2 tablespoons
Walnuts, 2 tablespoons
Sliced bleached almonds, 2 tablespoons
almond chips
Salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Black pepper, 1/4 flat teaspoon
The sauce
Lemon juice, 4 tablespoons
freshly squeezed
5% vinegar, 3 tablespoons
Olive oil, 3 tablespoons
Sesame oil, 3 tablespoons
Sugar, 2 flat teaspoons

Preparation

1. Separate the mint leaves and leave them whole.
2. Cut the purple onion into thin strips and the carrot finely grate.
3. Mix all the sauce ingredients well and set aside.
4. Mix in a bowl or in a nice serving dish all the salad ingredients, and before serving pour the sauce all over the salad.
