Ingredients
The pumpkin
Pumpkin, 500 g
Water, 500 ml
Salt, 1 flat teaspoon
The oil and spices
Canola oil, 1/4 cup
Hot paprika, 1 flat teaspoon
Garlic, 1 teaspoon
Salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Black pepper, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Cumin, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
Preparation
1. Boil the water with the salt, add the pumpkin cubes and cook for about 5 minutes or until the pumpkin is soft but not too soft.
2. Stir the oil with all the spices, add the pumpkin cubes, mix gently and set aside to absorb the flavors.
3. Serve with couscous or rice.
