Barbecue-Flavored Oven-Baked Potato Fries

Vegan barbecue French fries - baked potato slices with a unique and especially delicious spice mixture

Ingredients

Potato, 5 medium units
red
Canola oil, 2-3 tablespoons
Paprika, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Chili flakes, 1 pinch
sweet or spicy - to taste
Turmeric, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Coarse salt, 1 flat teaspoon
Tuscan spice mixture, 1 heaping teaspoon

Preparation

1. Peel the red potatoes, cut lengthwise and slice diagonally into long strips 1 cm thick (it is also possible with a zigzag cutter).
2. Transfer to a pot, cover with water and cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Drain from liquids, cool and dry slightly (then you can also put in the freezer for about 15 minutes - optional).
4. Mix the spices in the oil in a bowl.
5. In an oven tray lined with baking paper, pour the oil and spices mixture over the potato strips and mix well.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) turbo for about 40 minutes (depends on your oven).
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
