Ingredients
White bean, 1½ cups
Round rice, 1½ cups
Mushroom, 300-350 g
Onion, 1 medium unit
Canola oil, 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce, 4-5 tablespoons
Seasoning mixture for patties, 1½ flat tablespoons
Bread crumbs, 1-2 tablespoons
Canola oil, 2 tablespoons
Preparation
1. Fry the mushrooms and onion for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
2. Transfer the cooked bean, cooked rice, fried mushrooms and onion, soy sauce and seasoning mixture to a food processor, and grind until a sticky and not too smooth mixture is obtained (gradually add the bread crumbs while grinding). The goal is to feel the ingredients in the bite. It is recommended to taste the mixture and fix seasoning at this stage.
3. Make burger patties and roast in a hot pan with a little oil for a few minutes on each side.
4. You can also bake in the oven: create burger patties, place on oiled baking paper in a tray, oil the burgers generously with a brush on all sides and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes. Check that the burgers are stable enough and bake for another 10 minutes.
5. You get a vegan burger that is easy to prepare and incredibly delicious!
6. Bon appetite (:
Tip
It is not must to use round rice if there is none, plain rice is also possible. You can vary with the mushrooms: champignon, portobello, forest and more. Gluten-free bread crumbs or orange lentil flour can be used (as needed if the mixture is very soft).
