Ingredients
Classic Persian rice, 2 cups
Canola oil, 4 tablespoons
Water, 3 cups
Salt, 1 flat teaspoon
Onion, 1 large unit
Canola oil, 1/4 cup
Pine nuts, 50 g
Preparation
1. Fry the rice in oil until golden.
2. Add the water and salt, cover the pot, bring to a boil, lower the heat and cook for about 20 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and leave the rice covered for another 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, fry the onion in oil until golden, add the pine nuts and fry together for another 2 minutes.
5. Remove the lid, crumble with a fork, transfer to a serving dish, add the fried onion and pine nuts and serve hot.
