Orange Lentil Spread

Orange lentil spread and raw tahini that are so easy to make on your own at home

Ingredients

Orange lentils, 2 cups
washed and strained
Raw tahini, 2 tablespoons
Garlic, 2 cloves
crushed
Lemon juice, 1 unit
freshly squeezed
Atlantic sea salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Cumin, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Dried parsley, 1 handful
Olive oil, 2 tablespoons
extra virgin

Preparation

1. Cook the orange lentils in a pot with water until softened (about 10 minutes after boiling) and transfer to a bowl.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl.
3. Grind everything together in a rod blender and add water while grinding, until a spreadable texture is obtained.
4. Taste, fix flavors if necessary and mix again with a tablespoon.
5. Store in an airtight glass box in the refrigerator until use (can be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator in a closed box).
