Beet and Nuts Spread

Pampering and especially healthy beet and walnut spread seasoned with garlic, olive oil and lemon

Beet, 3 units
Walnuts, 1 cup
Garlic, 3 cloves
Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
extra virgin
Water, 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
freshly squeezed
Salt, 1/4 flat teaspoon
to taste


1. Cook the beets in plenty of water for about 45 minutes until they are soft (with the lid closed, check with a fork).
2. Remove to cool and peel. Cut into cubes and place in a blender.
3. Add the walnuts, chopped garlic, olive oil, water and lemon juice to the blender, and blend to the desired texture (you can leave crunchy with pieces).
4. Transfer to a serving plate, season with salt to taste and serve.
