Ingredients

Almonds, 100 g
natural or roasted
Light raisins, 100 g
Natural walnuts, 50 g
Roasted hazelnuts, 50 g
Medjool dates, 100 g
pitted
Roasted peanuts, 100 g
Black pepper, 3/4 flat teaspoon
Cardamom, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Cinnamon, 1 flat teaspoon
Ground ginger, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Ground cloves, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Natural pomegranate juice, 1 cup

Preparation

1. Grind the almonds, raisins, walnuts, hazelnuts, dates and peanuts in a food processor / grinder.
2. Put the mixture in a large bowl, add all the spices and the natural pomegranate juice (those who do not like can use red wine instead) and mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
3. You have a unique Persian-style Passover charoset that is great to eat with matzah or lettuce.
4. Bon appetite (:
Tip
It is recommended to use fresh squeezed pomegranate juice (I also added 2 tablespoons of pomegranate concentrate for a stronger and more sour taste - to taste, not mandatory).

Equipment: Food processor/grinder.

Ingredients in the recipe are according to personal taste. Charoset balls can be rolled and served.
