Easy Whole Spelt Flour Rolls

Perfect spelt flour rolls (buns) baked in the oven, healthy and easy to make with the addition of walnuts and oats

Ingredients

The dough
Whole spelt flour, 500 g
Comment
Dry yeast, 10 g
Thin pink salt from the Himalayas, 2 teaspoons
Dried herbs, 2 teaspoons
to taste
Walnuts, 1/2 cup
coarsely cut
Water, 250 ml
Olive oil, 2 tablespoons
high quality
Date honey, 3 tablespoons
without added sugar
For spreading
Olive oil, 1 teaspoon
high quality
The coating
Oats, 8 teaspoons
to taste

Preparation

1. Mix all the dough ingredients in a mixer for about 10 minutes, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for about 1 hour (the dough that comes out is compressed. If the dough is too dry add another 0.5 cup of water gradually before rising).
2. Form into balls, brush with a little olive oil, sprinkle with oatmeal to taste and bake at 356°F (180°C) turbo for about 30 minutes.
3. For a crispy and crunchy rolls - place a heatproof pan with boiling water at the bottom of the oven.
4. Try to not go crazy while waiting until it cools down, eat and thank yourself for not being lazy because you are now left with delicious vegan buns of whole spelt flour.

Tip
Instead of oats, you can sprinkle nigella or sesame seeds according to your personal taste.
