Apple, 1 medium unit
Apple puree, 1/3 cup
Whole wheat flour, 3 flat tablespoons
Cinnamon, 1/2 flat teaspoon
Ground cloves, 1/4 flat teaspoon
Ground ginger, 1/4 flat teaspoon

1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (except the frying oil).
2. Heat the oil in a pan.
3. Using a tablespoon take from the mixture, fry thin latkes for about a minute on each side or until browned and place on paper towel.
