Homemade and easy pesto spread from fresh basil leaves, walnuts, olive oil and garlic

Ingredients

Basil, 2 bunches
washed - leaves only
Garlic, 5 cloves
Walnuts, 50 g
or pine nuts (of your choice)
Olive oil, 1/2 cup
Salt, 1 flat teaspoon

Preparation

1. Grind well all the ingredients together in a food processor until a pesto spread is obtained.
2. Transfer to a jar and enjoy!

Tip
Pine nuts can cause a bitter taste in the mouth, so walnuts are a great substitute that does not impair the quality of pesto.

Can be stored in the freezer.
