Healthy homemade beet Drink that you can serve hot, lukewarm or cold

Ingredients

Beet, 6-8 units
peeled and halved
Lemon juice, 2 units
Sugar, 2 flat tablespoons
Coarse salt, 1 flat tablespoon
Water, as needed

Preparation

1. Cook the beets in a pot full with water (2/3 height) for about half an hour, until the beets soften.
2. Refrigerate and remove the beets. Add the lemon juice, salt and sugar to the red liquid (while hot).
3. Mix well and drink hot, lukewarm or cold. It is advisable to taste before serving and add seasoning if necessary...
4.Enjoy a wonderful and healthy beetroot drink!
Tip
From the beets themselves you can make different vegan salads.
