Ingredients
Bread flour, 500 g
Dry yeast, 1 tablespoon
Garlic powder, 1 flat tablespoon
Olive oil, 50 ml
Thyme, 1 tablespoon
Walnuts, 100 g (1 cup)
Coriander seeds, 2 flat tablespoons
Salt, 1 flat tablespoon
Water, 350 ml
Salvia leaves, 2 leaves
Preparation
1. Transfer to the mixer bowl all the ingredients except the salt and water, knead for about 3 minutes, add the salt and also the water gradually and continue to knead until you get a dough.
2. Transfer the dough to a floured bowl, cover with a damp towel and rise for about an hour until doubled in volume.
3. Divide the dough into two equal parts, shape into loaves of bread, place in the oven pan with baking paper and rise for another half hour.
4. Using a sharp knife, make cuts on the breads and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (210°C) for about 15 minutes with a bowl of boiling water inside the oven. Then, take out the bowl, lower to 375°F (190°C) and continue to bake for another 15 minutes. You get a perfect nut and garlic bread!
5. Bon appetite (:
Tip
Can be frozen. It is not recommended to spread the bread when it is just coming out of the oven, but to wait about an hour.
Total time: 1-2 hours
Equipment: mixer.
The nutritional value does not include the salvia leaves. You can also add fresh crushed garlic - I like it less because the taste is too dominant for me.
