Gluten-Free Vegan Brown Rice Bread

Gluten-free vegan rice bread is easy to prepare and free of artificial additives that can then be heated in a toaster to a crispy texture

Round whole rice, 1 cup
Water, 1/3 cup
Salt, 1 flat teaspoon


1. Soak the whole rice with water overnight. The next day, strain the water, rinse it slightly in a colander and mix in a food processor together with 0.33 cup of the water (or until the rice is covered with water) and the salt.
2. Pour the mixture into a baking pan (English cake pan).
3. Bake at 356°F-410°F (180°C-210°C) for about 50-70 minutes, until golden and a stable texture.
4. Let the rice bread cool for at least 30 minutes. If you want a crispy texture, you can heat slices of bread in a toaster.

The preparation method also includes soaking and grinding. The nutrition values may be inaccurate because the data on the round full rice product is 100 g after cooking. The nutrition label does not include the pepper and tofu spread in the picture. It can be served with a roasted pepper spread: half a red pepper and half a roasted orange pepper with a clove of roasted garlic and a little salt and pepper.
